My career has already begun; I work as a full time mommy at the moment for a new baby boy who is the best thing ever, and I have a great boyfriend who is an amazing father to Matthew. I’m also a full time student, graduating this year, and I’m fulfilling my goal of becoming a Medical Assistant by going to Washington County Community College this fall. It doesn’t really matter to me where I work as a Medical Assistant, but I would rather work in a small community, so I can have a chance to meet new people and get to know them. I really would like to further my career later on in life to become a RN or even work as an EMT, but for now I’m just going to take it easy and help people through Medical Assisting.

My goal to pay for college is hopefully through financial aid and scholarships, because the truth is I have no money towards college at the moment. I know I will be able to do this one way or any other. I plan to have a decent job to further myself and my son and I plan to live at home throughout college until I have enough money to leave. I believe that I can and will be able to get through school without dropping out, even though some people think that I’m not mature enough to attend college because I am graduating a year early. But I say it’s not the four years that makes you mature and ready for college, it’s you and your choice to work hard and make the right choices to make it through and succeed in life.
